Towards the Upper Murray

This eastern loop departs Albury for a short run to breakfast in Tallangatta. The town will be busy as the local 5km fun run will just be finishing when our Tour rolls into town. The cars will be a feature of much attention as everyone enjoys the Saturday morning atmosphere over breakfast on the green of The Triangles in the centre of town.

Following breakfast the Tour will move eastwards to take in the lower reaches of the Mitta Valley and the pine forests around Koetong and Shelley to Walwa for lunch, which will be enjoyed inside and outside the local Memorial Hall.

Into New South Wales

After lunch, it's across the Murray River into New South Wales towards the Snowy Mountains. We'll drive past Jingellic and onto Mundaroo, Tumbarumba and back into Victoria at Tintaldra after some of the best sweeping views you could ever hope to see.

Social dinner at Tallangatta

We then follow west along the mighty Murray River towards the picturesque old gold village of Granya on the way back to Tallangatta. A most satisfying day of touring will be capped off with a dinner and presentation of awards for the day (and plenty of social banter).
